individualized care

My primary practice is in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, with a secondary practice in Atlin, British Columbia.  My clinical focus is fertility, pregnancy and ongoing women’s health.

New patients are accepted on a case-by-case basis – spots are very limited and priority is given to health concerns related to fertility and pregnancy.

If you are interested in becoming a patient of the Terra Life Naturopathic Clinic, please contact the clinic through the Contact Page with a brief summary of your health concerns/goals. We will get back to you with the next available opening, or refer you to another practitioner.

Returning patients can book their visits at the Terra Life Naturopathic Clinic by clicking here.

faq

Are your services covered by my medical insurance?

Yes – as a primary care provider, consultations and often lab tests will be covered by your extended medical coverage. This includes visits to my clinic, follow-up phone calls, and labour support at your home or the hospital. I offer direct billing to all major insurance providers. Contact your insurance provider to determine how much coverage you have for Naturopathic Doctors.

When should I come to see you?

I see women in all stages: trying to conceive, new pregnancy, preparing for birth, during labour, ongoing postpartum recovery and family health. To ensure the highest level of care for my patients, I only take on a limited number of new patients each month, so booking ahead is critical.

Do I need to be trying to conceive or pregnant to come and see you?

Definitely not – my focus is women health, at all stages. While the majority of my patients are in their child-bearing years, this also includes moms of school-aged children who are wanting to finally get their health back on track (the “post-partum” period truly never ends!), and also younger women who want to get healthy in anticipation of one day having children.

Do I need to come and see you in person?

Yes – to provide the highest level of care, I do need to see you in person, in my clinic, where I will perform a physical exam. Follow ups can be done over the phone or in person.

I already have a doctor or midwife – can I be treated by you as well?

Definitely – I work together with GPs and midwives all the time. Each specialty has their own training and expertise to offer the patient and I am a strong believer in integrative, collaborative health care.

I am currently pregnant – should I take the My Healthy Pregnancy Plan course, or come and see you in person?

I highly recommend taking the online course, and coming to see me when you need hands-on treatments or individual treatment plans. This will save you money and time, and you will get the best of both worlds.
